Need last-minute Easter plans? Many stores and restaurants will be open on April 5, 2026, some with reduced hours.

HOUSTON — Still need to fill your Easter baskets, prep for an egg hunt, grab last-minute ingredients for Sunday brunch, or even make a reservation? There are still options for those who find themselves needing a few things on Easter morning.

While some grocery stores, pharmacies, and other businesses may be closed for the day, others will remain open with limited hours. The same goes for restaurants. Some will be closed, but many will welcome diners for Easter brunch or dinner, often with special holiday menus.

Several food spots will still be open if you need a quick bite or a place to eat on Easter. Options include fast food chains like Burger King, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Wendy’s and Domino’s. Coffee and breakfast lovers can stop by Dunkin’ or Starbucks, while sit-down meals are available at places like Cracker Barrel, IHOP, and Golden Corral.
